God of War: Ghost of Sparta is the sixth installment of the God of War series, originally released on the PlayStation and PSP Go. It was later released alongside God of War: Chains of Olympus on the PlayStation 3 as part of the God of War: Origins Collection.

The story is set between God of War and God of War II and Kratos visits the long-lost city of Atlantis and also details more about his past, which he tries to reveal, and also learns that his long-lost mother and brother Deimos are life.

In the story of Ghost of Sparta, Kratos is disturbed by a vision of an old woman lying sick on a stone slab. Convinced he can truly change these visions, Kratos sets out for Atlantis on a quest that eventually leads him back to his home in Sparta and to the realm of Thanatos, the god of death.

Graphically, this game looks better than most PS2 games and is by far the best-looking game on the PSP. With detailed environments featuring continuous rain and flowing air or lava, it creates a beautiful backdrop and really brings the game to life.

Besides the beautiful graphics and solid gameplay, Ghost of Sparta really sets it apart from the previous series in the depth of character from Kratos.
